1996 is a zine about those of us born before the millennium. Not quite Millennial, not quite Gen Z. The gang who grew up just before the internet took over everything, who didn't get cell phones until high school, who are learning the new rules of social interaction on- and offline.
It's a zine about art, music, politics, media, current events, daily life...everything and somehow nothing at the same time.
